How to use Hitachi VEEA6 camcorder battery to keep long life:

1. Full Charge New Hitachi VEEA6 camcorder battery at every time;

2. Make sure to fully discharge, then charge your Hitachi camcorder batteries at least once every two weeks for maximum performance and long life;

3. Prevent the battery Memory Effect - Keep the camcorder battery healthy by fully charging and then fully discharging it at least once every two to three weeks. Exceptions to the rule are Ni-Cd batteries which do not suffer from the memory effect;

4. Please take out the Hitachi VEEA6 battery pack from your machine when it is not being used and clean it with soft and dry cloth;

5. Do't use higher than its threshold voltage to charge, otherwise your Hitachi VEEA6 battery will not charging, it's unsafe and easily damage you camcorder batteries;

6. Battery Storage - If you don't plan on using the battery for a month or more, store it in a clean, dry, cool place away from heat and metal objects. Ni-Cd, Ni-MH and Li-ion batteries will self-discharge during storage; remember to recharge the batteries before use;
